Abstract

This panel explores how citizenship is activated beyond the formal and institutionalised frames of the state. Bringing together studies of citizenship in often unfamiliar sites and sites of resistance - from family life to technological and environmental arenas - this panel examines how citizenship is enacted alone and collectively through care, deliberation, and new claims for political agency.
