Abstract

Although receiving more attention in recent years, civil war remains and understudied subject. This panel will apply quantitative and mixed-methods approaches to understand the various dynamics and features of civil war, both at the onset and in the aftermath of conflict. It will look into power-sharing agreements to take a deeper look at various issues, such as to which degree minority groups are accommodated in peace processes.
