Abstract

The aim of this panel is to discuss and critique the theory and practice of governance and collaborative governance. While there have been several arguments and counter-arguments for the concept of governance and government, this panel presents the opportunity for participants to draw upon various literatures and case-studies in the field of governance and collaborative governance to either support the argument for a governance model or argue for the innovation of governance in order to create a concept such as collaborative governance. Where relevant, challenges of governing such as the multiscalar nature of governance and multi-level governance shall be discussed.
