Since the end of the Second World War, various international or regional Courts have been created: International Court of Justice, African Court on Human and Peoples' Rights, Inter-American Court of Human Rights, Central American Court of Justice. They have been part of the “Global Expansion of Judicial Power” and of the rise of regional integration. Some Courts such as the European Court of Justice have been the focus of many articles and books. But some Courts have been seldom analysed so far even if they might be used as relevant control cases or test cases. The panel will gather papers studying international or regional Courts and dealing with various issues like institutional settings, institutional building, relationships between international courts and other actors (national Courts, national governments, interest groups…), decision-making, jurisdiction and jurisprudence.
