Abstract

Proposals are invited on papers that consider the strategy of legal mobilization by societal groups and minority parties seeking policy change through litigation, as well as the legal professionals engaged in legal mobilization. Topics considered, but not limited to, include legal mobilization and legal professionals in the following areas: the politics of sexual equality and same-sex marriage, language and education policy, environmental policy, disability policy, Indigenous rights, criminal law reform, health and social policy, abortion and the right to life, euthanasia, and criminal disenfranchisement. Comparative approaches (across policy areas and/or countries) are also invited.
