Abstract

The decisions of courts, and especially constitutional courts, strongly influence public policies. This might be either directly by blocking a change of the status quo, or indirectly by interpreting laws and defining the area of implementation (statutory interpretation). This panel invites papers dealing with the effects of courts and judicial politics on public policies. Papers having a comparative approach (e.g. using comparative policy agenda project) are especially invited.
