Coordination and Multi-Level Governance

Abstract

The panel addresses the role of different modes and mechanisms of coordination in translating »wicked policy problems« into coherent policies and in their implementation against the backdrop of the increasing fragmentation of public administration. It will explore the analytical chances and limits of different approaches to coordination including negative vs. positive coordination, networks, and multi-level governance.
