this panel explores questions of global justice as they arise in what are often termed the global commons. We operate a flexible and critical interpretation of what constitutes the global commons to incorporate common interest as it arises in other spheres (such as the atmosphere or the environment more generally) and invite papers that explore the extent of the concept and idea of justice pertaining to it
