Abstract

LGBTQ movements struggle for equality in legislations and public space across the globe. Legislative and policy responses to these demands as well as the public discourse vary per country. Papers in this panel show how strategies and measures of governments, states and social movements in European Union member states, including France, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden and the UK, the European Union and Russia interact.
