Abstract

This panel focuses on international relations in the Arctic and security policies. The transformation of the Arctic due to climate change opens up new possibilities but also new challenges to the Arctic due to the increased strategic importance of the region. Conflicting agendas, conflicting interests, and the spillover from other international conflicts will be addressed.
