The Panel brings together papers on parliamentary deliberation, electoral politics, voters' perception of parties during the crisis and asks if competitiion is still the core of liberal Democracy. One emprically informed paper on Iceland, one theoretical paper on competition and two case study papers Analyse the role of parties in modern Democracy.
