Abstract

This panel examines the incorporation of Citizens of Immigrant Origin to national parliaments across eight European democracies (Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK). The papers focus on descriptive and substantive representation and on the various contextual and individual factors that help us understand variation in the levels and patterns of political representation across these countries
