Abstract

This panel considers radicalism and populism in comparative perspective in contemporary Europe. Papers consider both case studies and broad European trends in considering how we should both conceptualise and measure populism and radicalism. The panel is therefore focused on what the rise and spread of radicalism and populism tell us about European politics in general as well as helping us to focus on the actors, parties and movements that embody these themes
