Abstract

Major elections were held during the last two to three years: the US, the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands and many other countries witnessed highly digitalized campaigns. This panel creates a platform for both comparative as well as case studies on elections and campaigns with an emphasis on the use of new technologies and communication channels. We encourage theory-based papers with quantitative as well as qualitative methodological approaches. Papers with a focus on non-European countries are very welcome.
