Abstract

VAAs are online tools implemented before elections and designed to help voters to compare their policy preferences on major issues with the respective positions of political parties/candidates. The aim of this panel is to concentrate on VAAs' potential contribution to our understanding of party positioning and electoral competition in "second-order" EP elections. The panel especially welcomes analyses of - and insights from - large-scale transnational VAA platforms, in comparative and/or longitudinal perspective.
