Organised Crime and the Crime-Terror Nexus

Abstract

This panel will bring together the findings of various researchers working in the overlapping area of Organised Crime and Terror Networks, particularly around the crime /terror nexus. The panel will comprise academic perspectives with those of practitioners. A number of papers will address the findings of the TAKEDOWN project which, in addition to developing academic research on organised crime and terror networks, has also developed ‘solutions’ platforms for practitioners to dismember organised crime and terror networks.
