Abstract

This panel explores issues relating to the role of states in pursing environmental policies and wider transformation towards sustainability. Papers critically examine the track records of post-Soviet states, Greece and Turkey in pursuing green and climate agendas. The panel also includes a theoretical paper that explains the structural barriers to greening the state.
