Abstract

This panel looks at how democracy and democratic innovation is preformed, understood and related to at elite levels. The papers take a range of approaches to these questions, from investing institutional designs of consultations with stakeholders at the supra- and international level, to understanding how elite strategies both affect and are shaped by democratic innovation.
