In the last years, unprecedented protests have taken place all over the world, and particularly in Europe. In this paper we aim at investigating whether recent protests have had an impact on citizens' attitudes towards political participation - both traditional and modern forms of participation. Ultimately, we want to give an answer to this question: have recent protests promoted citizens' dissatisfaction with their democratic systems?
