One of the most discussed topics in the international press at the end of 2013 was that of the Eastern Partnership Summit in Vilnius and events surrounding it. This Summit had more media coverage than the previous two and was very much looked forward to by all actors involved. All this fuss made about it brought to our attention the issue of EU’s involvement towards it`s eastern neighbourhood, area that is composed of countries that are also part of EU’s Neighbourhood Policy.
The paper is focused on recent developments regarding the Eastern Partnership, analysing in the same time future prospects for this framework of cooperation, taking into consideration Armenia and Ukraine`s decision to step back from initiating or signing an Association Agreement with the European Union.
