Proposed paper deals with social base of electoral support of new populist parties in Central Europe. In these countries several parties of this kind arose during elections in last several years. Although these parties are not radical in the term of relation to immigrants or national minorities, they are challenge to contemporary political establishments. In this paper, conditions of electoral success of Austrian Team Stronach, Czech Usvit, ANO, VV and Slovak OĽANO will be analyzed. The aim of analysis (based on aggregate data on municipal level) is to find out whether some bounds have been established between society and these parties. Procedure is following: differences of results of "traditional" parties across country are usually influenced by differences in social structure. However, I expect the lack of such influence in the case of populist parties. Test of this assumption helps us to understand factors of success of populist parties.
