Abstract

In the European Union, the lobbyists are said to be powerful. But does their influence lie in their trajectories and especially their political trajectories inside the European Parliament ? Based on data collected on the political careers of the MEPs elected in 2009 and in 2014, this presentation will show how unproper is this process of revolving door for the European parliament. The MEPs are indeed selected by national processes that prevent them to be European lobbyists.
