This paper looks at how artists convey the emotion of revolution. It takes as its starting point an exhibition of visual art taking place in April 2013 and analyzes: the kinetics of protest; the role of the senses (particularly sight and sound) in collectively remembering 2005; and, the cyclical nature of protest and revolution.
