Discussion from anthropology and organised crime studies

In this contribution Dina Siegel will converse with the author of the book, Anna Sergi, to highlight what the book’s contribution can be in anthropological and cultural approaches to the study of organised crime and mafias. By picking out some specific sections of the book, and by reflecting on some of the theoretical and methodological challenges that the text encounters and proposes, this contribution will highlight how the book contributes to research in cultural studies and organised crime, and discuss the current challenges to conduct sound ethnographic research in this field.
