Abstract

The more people understand policy matters, the greater the likelihood of successful implementation. A challenge of understanding integration exists in European society. A Special Eurobarometer report surveyed European Union citizens from November to December 2021. Fifty-three per cent of respondents consider the issue of integration a high priority. Sixty-two per cent report not being well-informed about integration and migration matters. Forty-seven per cent think integration of new minorities is unsuccessful in their country. Simultaneously, some researchers are grappling with the implications of open science. COALITION Project has two aims. One, to support the integration of new minorities in the European Union. Two, to deliver training programs to researchers on processes to strengthen innovation. Aligning with the Framework Agreement 2018 between Australia and the European Union. This project develops the alliance between Australia and the European Union’s research initiatives. Believing that strengthening international relations is best served through open science practices. Encouraging cooperation by creating programs that support researchers to move projects beyond state-of-the-art. A space that is attractive to secure funding. COALITION Project is a call to action. Seeking opportunities for researchers to scale their outputs through collaboration. A determination for more.
