The rejection of people leads to retreat and/or aggression (Eisenberger), threat leads temporarily to rational acting(Marcus et al.), and certain educational styles generate authoritarians, peole most sensible to the perception of threat (Altemeyer, Stenner, Oesterreich). In order to answer the question when Globalization makes people to return to tradition I try to benefit from these findings. A further aim is to investigate if emotions could be a core phenomenon that might help to integrate these three research branches.
