Our new Open Access journal PRX is OPEN for submissions!

We're delighted to announce that our new Gold Open Access journal Political Research Exchange, published in association with Routledge Taylor & Francis, is now open for submissions. 

The journal, edited by Alexandra Segerberg (Stockholm University, right) and Simona Guerra (University of Leicester, left) offers a dynamic platform to advance research, innovation and debate.

PRX seeks to publish significant contributions from all fields, including comparative politics, international politics/international relations, political communication, political sociology, political thought, public administration, and interdisciplinary work with a predominantly political dimension. 

Speaking to ECPR as the submissions page went live, the editors told us:

'The PRX project is inspiring because it combines open scholarship grounded in the academic community with the power of a major publisher.

This makes it possible to build on the key values and integrity of political research at its best while bringing scholarly communication more firmly into the process – from leveraging the digital format to underpin analysis, to implementing fairness mechanisms such as triple-blind peer review, to making quality research swiftly and broadly available.

How to submit your paper

As a gold OA journal, PRX will charge an article publishing charge (APC) to authors once an article has been accepted for publication. For 2018 and 2019, all authors will be eligible to publish OA in PRX with a waived APC. This means all authors can publish in the journal for free until the end of 2019!
