Jonathan Slapin appointed co-editor of OUP Comparative Politics series

We're very happy to announce that Jonathan B. Slapin has been appointed co-editor of the Comparative Politics series, published by the ECPR with Oxford University Press.

Jonathan is Professor of Quantitative European Government and Director of the Essex Summer School in Social Science Data Analysis at the University of Essex. In August 2019, he will join the Institute of Political Science at the University of Zürich as Professor and Chair of Political Institutions and European Politics.

Jonathan's research interests include comparative political institutions, parties, legislatures, quantitative content analysis, European politics, and European integration. His research has been the recipient of the several awards including the Richard Fenno Prize for best book in the field of legislative studies and the Leon Epstein Outstanding Book Award. 

His recent publications include the books The Politics of Parliamentary Debate (co-authored with Sven-Oliver Proksch) and Roll Call Rebels (co-authored with Justin Kirkland).

Published by the ECPR in association with Oxford University Press, the Comparative Politics series is a series of long-lasting repute.

Founded in 1990, the series is devoted to the comparative study of contemporary government and politics, with a specific interest in the comparative domestic politics of institutions and political actors.
