PRX celebrates two-year anniversary and welcomes new Associate Editors

Political Research Exchange (PRX)In ECPR's 50th Anniversary year, our first Open Access journal, Political Research Exchange (PRX), also celebrates a milestone – two years of publishing. Since its launch at our 2018 General Conference in Hamburg, PRX offered a dynamic platform to advance research, innovation, and debate across the breadth of political science.

PRX today

Published in partnership with Taylor & Francis, PRX follows our traditions of excellence but in fully Gold Open Access. The journal leverages the digital format to deepen and enrich scholarly communication while delivering swift publication times – only 39 days to first decision on average. In this year alone, the journal has already published 20 outstanding research articles and research notes.

Sustainable publishing

As a Gold Open Access journal, PRX charges an Author Processing Charge to authors once an article has been accepted for publication. As part of our commitment to shaping a strong path for the research community, all APCs will be waived into 2020 and will thereafter continue to be significantly lower than the industry standard, capped to £100 for individuals from the ECPR member institutions.
