EJIR welcomes its all-new editorial team

We are thrilled to be introducing the brand new editorial team of the European Journal of International Relations (EJIR) who came on board on 1 January 2022, for a four-year team.

EJIR is the peer-reviewed flagship journal of our Standing Group on International Relations (SGIR) and the European International Studies Association (EISA).

The team was appointed by the EJIR Joint Management Committee, comprising members from both SGIR and the EISA, under the chairship of Anna Leander. Anna has now passed chair to Dirk de Bièvre of the University of Antwerp.

About the journal

European Journal of International Relations (EJIR) publishes peer-reviewed scholarly contributions across the full breadth of the field of International Relations, from cutting edge theoretical debates to topics of contemporary and historical interest to scholars and practitioners in the IR community. The journal eschews adherence to any particular school or approach, nor is it either predisposed or restricted to any particular methodology.

Warmest thanks to our outgoing editors

Our editors play a key role not only in the success of their respective publications but in shaping the direction of the discipline through the research they help publish and wider organisational initiatives and activities they lend their time and expertise to.

We would therefore like to take the opportunity to thank outgoing Editor-in-Chief, Geoffrey Underhill, and his team, whose excellent work continued the development and growth of the journal.
