ECTS credits
Participants can gain ECTS credits from the University of Ljubljana. Certificates of accreditation are sent out after the Summer School. Participants also receive a Certificate of Attendance for each course, if applicable (see rules below).
Exams for ECTS credits take place 09.00 to 12.00 on Saturday 9 August 2014.
Refresher courses
No ECTS credits are granted for these courses, only a Certificate of Attendance. There is no formal exam.
Two-week courses
To obtain the full five ECTS credits available, participants must complete their course, which includes a project assignment and an exam, on 9 August 2014. Participants who do not sit the exam can still obtain three ECTS credits by completing the project assignment. Participants who sit the exam but choose not to complete the project assignment can obtain two ECTS credits.
One-week courses
2 ETCS credits can be obtained for a 1-week course if participants successfully complete their course, including daily assignments and/or project work.
In the case of taking two 1-week courses and completing the daily assignments and/or project work (2 ECTS credits are awarded per course = 4 ECTS credits), an additional 1 ECTS credit can be obtained by taking and passing the exam from only one of the 2 courses taken.
You will need to let you instructor know if you wish to obtain credits and there will be the opportunity to do this on the first day of your course when you sign the attendance sheet.
Certificate of Attendance
Participants receive this if they have attended a minimum of 80% of their course(s). Certificates of Accreditation (if applicable) and Certificates of Attendance are sent out by The University of Ljubljana after the Summer School has ended.
