About

Political scientist, assistant professor at Department of Public Administration at College of Economic and Social Science at Warsaw School of Economics. A graduate of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (international relations, political science), he worked at University of Zielona Góra and visited University of Rostock (Germany). He specializes in the issues of local government and local politics in Poland, Germany and European countries as well as systemic transformation in Central Europe. He explored issues related to elections, public participation and urban development. He received grants and scholarships for research and organized projects from institutions and universities in Poland and abroad. Author of expert opinions and reviews for scientific journals, local government units and analytical centers. As secretary of the Copernicus Graduate School and other endeavors, he was responsible for the organization of international conferences, summer schools and seminars on various topics. As an academic teacher, he conducted classes for students on local government, public administration and international relations in Polish, English and German - lectures, seminars and exercises, he was a supervisor of BA theses. He looked after the student association and organized academic events, including study tours for students to Germany and European countries. Vice-president of the board of Polish-German Society in Toruń, social activist and long-distance runner.
