I am a researcher at the Swedish Institute of International Affairs and Stockholm University. My current research focuses on climate governance, national-level decarbonization strategies and policies, scrutinizing the role of state and non-state actors in climate action, and the role of the UNFCCC in climate cooperation. I am also part of a project on sustainable energy transformation in cities and the EU Cities Mission: https://www.ui.se/english/research/global-politics-and-security/breaking-silos--can-the-eus-mission-approach-for-climate-neutral-cities-accelerate-energy-transitions/. I hold Masters degree from Idaho State University in Political Science (2014) and a PhD in Public Policy from Oregon State University (2018).
