Dr Alexandre Christoyannopoulos is Reader in Politics and International Relations at Loughborough University, and Editorial Assistant for Global Society (a journal based at the University of Kent). His research and teaching interests include: Pacifism and nonviolence (especially anarcho-pacifism); Political theory and history of political thought (especially Leo Tolstoy's); Anarchism (especially Christian/religious); Critical security studies and critical terrorism studies; Religion and politics. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Pacifism and Nonviolence: https://brill.com/view/journals/jpn/jpn-overview.xml. He also co-edited a multi-volume collection of Essays on Anarchism and Religion (Stockholm University Press).
