About

In spring 2023 I took up a Research Associate post in Insights North East (INE): an exciting new UKRI-funded partnership between local universities, authorities and health trusts across North East England. My role focuses on improving capacity and capabilities to support knowledge mobilisation across the research-policy interface. I find myself more and more interested in exploring how the research ecosystem works, in knowledge exchange, and in how expertise is built up and shared. Before coming to this becautiful part of the world, I spent five years working as an in-house translator (French/Italian); completed an AHRC-funded MA and PhD (National Gallery, London & University of Liverpool); and held short-term postdoctoral fellowships at the Frick Collection, New York, and the Paul Mellon Centre for the Study of British Art. I've also worked in Professional Services here at Newcastle University.
