I'm visiting professor and research associate at the Department for Social Sciences at the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. My research focuses on the intersection between political communication and decision-making and on the relationship between democratic theory and empirical research. In this vein, I have, for example, investigated the role deliberation plays in parliamentary decision-making, and how political parties strategize their political messages in an increasingly dynamic and volatile communication environment.
