About

Andreu Paneque holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Public Administration from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (2015-2016). He also holds a Master’s in Current Democracies: Nationalism, Federalism at UPF (2016-2017). Currently, is enrolled in the PhD Programme in Political and Social Sciences under the supervision of Prof. Javier Astudillo Ruiz at the same university. He received a fellowship as a research assistant for the academic year 2016-2017. He has currently been awarded with the first Andorran scholarship called Consell de la Terra for his investigation about the process of professionalization in the Micro-States (2018). He received a teaching innovation fellowship (2018-2019). He is part of the OPCAT (Observatori dels Partits Politics Catalans), project linked with the PPDB project. He is part of the research group on Institutions and Political Actors in UPF. His research interests cover political parties, political elites, local politics, microstates, and political communication.
