Anna is a PhD student, research assistant, and instructor with the Center for Policy and Democracy at the University of Colorado Denver's School of Public Affairs. With over a decade of political advocacy experience—including campaigns, direct action, organizing, and lobbying—Anna conducts research on issues of public participation, gender and racial equity, and representation in policy conflict. Recent and current work has focused on abortion politics and policy and other reproductive justice issues in both the United States and Europe. She earned her graduate certificate in public policy analysis from CU Denver's School of Public Affairs, her M.A. in English Literature from Penn State University, and her B.A. in English Literature, Cultural Anthropology, and Women's Studies from Texas Tech University.
