Annabelle Lever is Professeure des Universités à Science Po et chercheuse titulaire au Cevipof, Centre de recherches politiques de Sciences Po. https://www.sciencespo.fr/cevipof/fr/chercheur/annabelle-lever.html She has a BA in Modern History from Oxford University and a PhD in Political Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She taught normative political theory in the United States, Great Britain and Switzerland, before joining Sciences Po in 2017, where she teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in democratic political theory, ethics and public policy and epistemology and methodology. She has published widely on privacy, sexual and racial equality, intellectual property, human rights, democratic theory and the ethics of voting, heading the Horizon 2020 project Reconstructing Democracy in Times of Crisis: A Voter-Centred Perspective (REDEM) https://www.redem-h2020.eu/. Another recent project is on Satire and Democracy, motivated by the murder of Samuel Paty. http://www.satiredem.net/ She is co-editor of the Critical Review of International Social and Political Theory (CRISPP).
