About

I am Associate Professor at the Political Science department at Örebro University (Sweden), while my research interest cuts across political science, social psychology, and sociology. In different national and international projects, I investigate the preconditions and dynamics of of behaviour change and sustainability. In particular, I am concerned with how context and peer-group influences form behaviour and behavioural change. For this purpose, I use a combination of different methodological approaches, including quantitative surveys, experiments, qualitative interviews, and comparative methods. Before starting as Postdoc in Örebro, I studied International Business and Political Science at the University of Mannheim and Essex University, among others. After that, I worked as a lecturer in Political Sociology at the University of Mannheim and was part of research projects at the Mannheim Centre for European Social Research (MZES) and the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Siegen.
