About

I am professor of business and governance in the School of International Liberal Studies at Waseda University, Tokyo. I have been working on economic nationalism, higher education policy, and policy affecting the cultural and creative industries. Prior to moving to Waseda in 2004 he was senior lecturer in the School of International Business at Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia. I have undergraduate and masters degrees from the University of Queensland and a PhD from Australian National University, based in the Australia-Japan Research Centre.
