Christopher is a Doctoral Researcher and Visiting Lecturer at the University of Chester in the Department of Social and Political Science. He holds a BA in Politics (1st Class) from the University of Chester, and an MA in Political Communication (Distinction) from the University of Leeds. Christopher's research focuses on digital media, political communication, extra-institutional participation, British politics, comparative politics, and political efficacy. He has written widely on Brexit, post-truth politics, and political communication in fractured public spheres. Current projects include work into the utilisation of digital media within the Welsh independence movement and a book chapter on the future of journalism. Christopher is always interested in hearing from other researcher's across disciplines for research collaboration on any of the above topics. Please contact on c.robertson@chester.ac.uk
