PhD in Political Science (2010) by Institute of Social and Political Studies (IESP) from State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). Master in Communication and Information by Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2004). Professor at Professional Master in Legislative Affairs of Brazilian Chamber of Deputies. Researcher at the Centre for Democratic Engagement (Leeds) and the Global Network Research on Parliaments and People (GRNPP); member of the Executive Team of the International Parliament Engagement Network (IPEN); associate researcher at the Department of Antropology of School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS). Visiting Scholar at the Centre for Legislative Studies of University of Hull (2013). Has experience in the area of communication and politics, working mainly on the following themes: internet and legislative, gender and politics, internet and politics in Brazil, parliamentarians and social media, digital parliaments, digital mandates, ethnography of parliaments.
