About

Eleanor is a final year PhD research student in International Studies at HAPP, under the supervision of Professor Richard English and Dr. Andrew Thomson. Eleanor's research focuses on the ethical implications of state intelligence activities during the Northern Irish and Colombian conflicts, and the impact such activities had on the peace processes. She is particularly interested in the intertwining relationship between terrorism and intelligence activities, and how they impact each other. Prior to joining Queen's University Belfast, Eleanor studied at Cardiff University at an undergraduate and master's level.
