I am Professor of Political Science at the University of Oslo, Norway. Research interests include political parties, interest groups, political representation and public policy making in established democracies. My doctoral thesis was shortlisted for the European Consortium for Political Research's Jean Blondel PhD Prize in 2008. In 2014, I received a grant from the national funding scheme "Young Research Talents" (The Research Council of Norway/UiO) to manage a cross-national study of the relationship between parties and interest groups in established democracies. The project is is formally coming to an end, but see this webpage for more information and follow-up work: https://pairdem.org/
