I am an Assistant Professor in International Relations at the University of Haifa and an affiliated Senior Fellow at the Herzl Center for Israel Studies at Charles University, Prague. My primary research interest lies in the study of EU foreign policy, diplomacy, the quest for recognition in International Relations and emotions in IR. Prior to joining the University of Haifa, I was a Fellow at the London School of Economics (LSE) and taught International Relations, at King's College, London. Before pursuing my PhD, I worked at the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was a Research Associate at the Israeli Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) where I focused on EU-Israel relations. I completed my PhD in International Relations at the LSE. I hold a BA and MA (Magna Cum Laude) in International Relations from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.
