Enrico Gualini is since 2006 Professor of Planning Theory and Urban-Regional Policy Analysis at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning of TU Berlin. His academic career developed through experiences in research and teaching at Politecnico di Milano, the University of Dortmund, the University of Amsterdam, and through research activities in further countries. His key research interests are the policy dimension of spatial development processes, the ‘production’ and social construction of space, the development of new governance practices and related shifts in socio-spatial formations, as well as the ensuing challenges for policy and institutions and related planning-theoretical issues.
