About

Erin O'Brien is Associate Professor and Australian Research Council DECRA Fellow in the School of Justice, Queensland University of Technology. Her research examines political advocacy, lobbying, and participation, and the interplay between political activists and the state in the construction of knowledge and formation of policy. Her current research focuses on lobbying and participation in the marketplace, including political consumerism and shareholder activism on issues including labour exploitation, climate change, and human rights abuses.
