About

I am Professor of Political Science at the Interuniversity Department of Regional and Urban Studies and Planning (DIST) – University of Turin. I am also President of the Italian Observatory on the Quality of Regulation (Osservatorio AIR), a research centre funded by Italian regulatory agencies (www.osservatorioair.it). My research focuses on public management reforms, regulatory governance, anticorruption policy. I conducted my doctoral studies at the University of Florence (2005-2009) and my dissertation addressed political appointments in Italy. I have several years of professional practice experience in Italian public bodies as I served as Policy Advisor at the Italian Anticorruption Authority and the Italian Ministry for Simplification and Public Administration. My work appears in International Public Management Journal, American Behavioral Scientist, Public Administration, Policy Studies Journal, Regulation & Governance, among others.
