About

Fergus Green is a Lecturer in Political Theory & Public Policy in the Department of Political Science, University College London. He was previously a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Fair Limits project at Utrecht University. He completed his PhD in the Department of Government at the LSE in October 2019, focusing on transitional justice in major policy reforms. His research interests span political theory and applied political philosophy (especially to public policy and economics issues), as well as the politics and governance of climate change. From January 2014 to October 2015 Fergus was a Policy Analyst and Research Advisor to Professor Nicholas Stern at the LSE’s Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment and the Centre for Climate Change Economics and Policy. Before moving to London Fergus practised as a lawyer in the Melbourne office of Allens for three and a half years, specialising in climate change, energy, water and environmental regulation.
